Built around how a Philippine boarding house is actually run

Most rental-management software is built for a single Western-style unit with one lease, one tenant, and one flat monthly rent. That model doesn’t match a Philippine room or boarding-house rental, where one property can have a dozen independently rented rooms, each with its own electric and water meter, and rent that’s collected room by room.

BHouse was built the other way around: starting from a real landlord’s day-to-day paperwork — the meter walk, the handwritten ledger, the padala-counter receipt for rent collected in cash — and turning that into software, rather than adapting a generic property manager after the fact. Every bill in BHouse reads like a numbered, stamped transaction slip, because that’s the paper trail Philippine landlords and renters already trust.

The product is priced and built for the market it serves: pesos, centavo-precise money handling, a Philippines-based SMS gateway for reminders, and a deposit model that treats a security deposit as payment for the room rather than a running credit against bills.
