Frequently asked questions
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Free is free forever, with no trial clock and no card. It covers up to 5 rooms with metered billing, payment proofs, the renter portal and email reminders. You only pay if you choose to move up to Plus or Pro.
How do I pay for a plan?
When you move to a paid plan, choose it in your account and BHouse issues a monthly invoice in Philippine pesos. Pay it online through our payment partner PayMongo using GCash, Maya, QR Ph, a credit or debit card, or online banking — you're taken to PayMongo's secure checkout page and BHouse never sees your card or e-wallet details. If you'd rather pay by direct transfer, upload the receipt on the invoice and our team confirms it. SMS credit top-ups are bought the same way.
What happens when I reach the room limit on Free?
You can keep using everything you have, but you can’t add another room until you move to a plan with no room cap (Plus and Pro). Nothing is removed or locked, and upgrading takes effect straight away.
How are SMS reminders billed?
Plus and Pro include a monthly SMS credit allowance for reminders (Plus: 100/mo, Pro: 300/mo). One credit covers a 160-character message — longer or non-Latin-script messages use more. Included credits reset on the 1st of each month and any unused balance doesn’t carry over. Need more than your allowance? Extra credits are available in packs of 100, 300, or 1,000 at ₱1 per credit, and purchased credits never expire.
What happens if a subscription invoice isn’t paid?
You get a 7-day grace period after an invoice becomes overdue. During grace, and if the account is later suspended, you can still sign in and view your existing records — you just can’t create new bills, readings, or renters until the invoice is settled. Nothing is deleted.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately with a prorated invoice for the difference. Downgrading takes effect on the 1st of the following month, with no partial-month credit.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full terms.
